Repair the World’s Partnerships department develops relationships with Jewish and secular organizations that strive to create meaningful Jewish service-learning opportunities for students, young adults and the broader community. By constructing a network of partners, we are building a nation-wide ecosystem of Jewish service opportunities, across a landscape of institutions and independent initiatives.
We work with the professional staff at our partner organizations to grow the quality, impact and capacity of their service programs through professional development trainings, one-on-one consulting, targeted funding and access to a valuable network of partners and resources. Through these relationships and initiatives, we aim to shift the field from a focus on short, episodic volunteer experiences, to one that builds a life-long commitment to serving others.
As our partnered professional staff integrate and embed the values of Jewish service-learning and social action into their organizational DNA, we anticipate a shift in the attitudes and behaviors of young adults, their communities and the institutions that serve them: service will be viewed as integral to Jewish life, young Jews will lead lives of service, and service-learning will be meaningfully incorporated into a range of Jewish organizations.
