Consulting
The Partnerships department works with a variety of Jewish and secular organizations, including Jewish program providers, community centers, congregations and others, around ideas of service, education and program development. We consult with these organizations to help determine successful methods of embedding service-learning into their work. Relationships include:
- Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (HIAS): We have been consulting with HIAS leadership about ways to develop an effective internship model.
- Jewish Social Justice Roundtable (JSJRT): As a member of JSJRT, Repair the World has the opportunity to develop strategies and initiatives in collaboration with other important service and social justice institutions. We represent Repair in the Roundtable’s Jewish Young Adults workgroup. At present, we are helping the committee develop methodology for advancing deep engagement of Jewish young adults in social justice work.
- The Rabbinic Assembly (RA): We are currently working with the RA to develop a strategy for making service and social justice a pillar of the Conservative movement.
- Numerous non-partner Hillel’s, Federations and Jewish organizations around the country.
If you are interested in discussing how to incorporate service into your organization’s work, or would like to discuss the possibility of a Partnerships staff-person teaching in your community, please contact us.
