AVODAH Introduces a New National Blog

Repair the World has featured many posts on the great work of one of our grantees, AVODAH: The Jewish Service Corps.

Since 1998, AVODAH’s Corps members have worked to “strengthen the Jewish community’s fight against the causes and effects of poverty in the United States.” Their immersive, year-long fellowship program has put young people at the forefront of this movement – in New York, New Orleans, Washington DC and Chicago. Now, AVODAH is stepping into the blogosphere with a national blog of their own.

AVODAH: Jewish Voices Pursuing Justice will be the go-to place (in addition to Repair the World’s blog, of course!) to find out news and updates from Corps members and hear about the amazing work alumni are doing after their fellowship year. AVODAH’S national blog joins their New Orleans-focused blog, which covers the lives and work of their New Orleans-based corps members, as well as social justice activities happening in the area.

Welcome to the service blogosphere AVODAH!
