Field Activation

Our visionary partnerships with Jewish engagement organizations and local non-profits equip them to catalyze their communities in meaningful service and Jewish learning through training, consultation, and shared programming, and local non-profits to increase capacity to meet the vital needs across our communities.

Together, We’re Building a Jewish Service Movement

We collaborate alongside organizations to galvanize Jewish communities to serve and tackle pressing needs. Serving together creates an opportunity for optimism, gratitude, and purpose: hallmarks of resilient communities and organizational culture.

Through deep partnership, we support professionals and young adults looking to grow their skills and deepen their knowledge at the intersection of volunteering, Jewish values, and social change.

Cultivate Your Skills

Together with you, we bring the tools and skills of volunteer management and Jewish service-learning to enhance your programs, engagement strategy, and Jewish learning in pursuit of a just world.

National Partnership Highlights

Hillel

We collaborate alongside Hillel International to support Jewish students on college campuses to learn and take action on issues they care about, through service grounded in Jewish values. We do this by funding the Service Engagement Internship and by mentoring and educating Hillel Springboard Fellows.

Moishe House

Repair the World funds the Director of Jewish Service Learning, who builds a culture of service at Moishe House to life based on Repair’s model, implementing Jewish service-learning. In the partnership’s first year, community builders, staff, and leaders supported nearly 3,000 community members to volunteer.

JDC Entwine

At the height of COVID-19, we helped fund the Jewish Service Corps at home, so Jewish communities abroad were able to receive necessary support throughout the pandemic. With Repair the World’s partnership, JDC’s Community Reps are also organizing their peers to serve domestically.

Jewish Service Alliance

In 2020, we established the Jewish Service Alliance (JSA) to strengthen the efforts of Jewish organizations responding to the COVID-19 pandemic and the calls for racial justice across the US and the world. We continue this effort to lift up and sharpen the efforts of Jewish organizations making change through direct service.
