The Repair the World Miami Farm Crew is a volunteer group focused on supporting urban gardening projects in the local Miami community. Each month, the Farm Crew will gather at a local Miami organization to serve and learn together! Farm Crew participants are making a year-long commitment to serve and attend our monthly programs. The Repair the World Miami Farm Crew programs are open to all members of the community and we encourage you to invite your friends/family to join us in the garden! Join us for a warm evening of challah braiding, community building, and Hanukkah candle lighting at a private residence in Brookhaven. Anyone in their 20s and 30s are welcome to attend this festive Queerhillah event, a cohort experience for social AND justice! Our first event, The Braiding Bunch, will introduce you to new people, teach you to braid challah, and provide opportunity to give back to our community, as the challah will be donated to ATL Free Fridge. Baking is hosted by Liora, a baker, traveler, dancer and Atlanta native. Light refreshments will be offered, we will gather at 5 pm and the event will culminate at 8 pm. This program is in partnership with Repair the World, SOJOURN, Ma'alot, OneTable, NextGen and Federation Gather Grants.

Bring your loved ones, a hanukkiah (menorah), 2 candles (one candle for the first night plus the shamash, or helper, candle), foil (to put under your hanukkiah), a lighter and a picnic dinner, which we’ll all enjoy together after the candle lighting.
