Volunteer on your own time! Sign up to receive a DIY toolkit in your registration confirmation email that will walk you through everything you need to know to participate. Trans folks all over the world face discrimination simply by existing in systems that don’t provide support, protections, or affirming care. Volunteers will handwrite notes for trans youth and adults, letting them know they are seen, supported, and valid. Point of Pride will include these letters in donations of free chest binders and femme shapewear (garments that help trans folks live more safely, comfortably and authentically). Help us track our impact! Have a friend who wants to participate? Instead of forwarding the toolkit, please invite them to register on our website.

In the spirit of this season, join us at the Crown Heights Workshop where we will be packaging winter care kits for school-aged neighbors in need. These kits will be distributed at Friends of Brower Park's Tree Lighting Ceremony on Wednesday evening to make sure all kids have what they need to be warm, safe, and comfortable this upcoming winter. We will also be supporting our newest neighbors by sorting clothing donations for Team TLC's Little Shop of Kindness, which distributes essentials to migrants every Friday from this very Workshop! By sorting donations, people are able to easily choose the clothing with dignity that is suitable for their needs. Contact [email protected] for more info, with any questions, or to just say hi!
