May has arrived, bringing with it the end of the school year, thoughts of summer, and those lovely May flowers that follow April’s showers. It’s also Jewish American Heritage Month – 31 days honoring the contributions Jews have made to American culture and society. This year’s theme? Tikkun Olam (healing the world), naturally.

We at Repair the World always like to celebrate Jewish American Heritage Month, but this year we’re doing it a little differently: by looking forward. All month long, we’ll be featuring interviews with some of today’s top social change thought leaders – people working tirelessly to bring about positive changes in the Jewish community and to the world.

Check back all month for the interviews, and other inspiring posts. And happy Jewish American Heritage Month!

Who is your favorite Jewish American social change leader? Let us know in the comments or by tweeting @repairtheworld, #JAHM.
