Do you have a group of friends, fellow students, or colleagues who are fired up to do good, but don’t quite know where to tap in? We have got the solution: launch a Repair the World Communities alternative break!

Alternative breaks are an amazing opportunity for immersive service that builds community and leadership while making a difference. And Repair the World Communities offer the perfect destination for your group or organization to engage in service, reflection and learning alongside Repair the World Fellows. Working with Repair the World’s staff, you can create a customized experience for your participants, with service activities focusing on food justice or education.

Repair the World is a long-time supporter of high-quality Alternative Break programs, both within and beyond a Jewish framework. Now we are helping to create them. Alternative Breaks are available in the following cities: Detroit, New York City, Philadelphia or Pittsburgh, and applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
