Ready to pick up your new fit while embracing the spirit of tikkun olam? Come check out our Spring Cleanse Trading Post! Bring gently loved clothing and accessories to swap, or simply come enjoy bagels, browse treasures, and spend a fun afternoon with the community! All genders are welcome, and anyone is welcome to participate whether or not you bring items! We just ask everyone to swap thoughtfully and choose things you’ll actually love and wear (not resell), keeping the spirit fun, fair, and charity-forward. Anything remaining will be donated through Repair the World to partner charities in the Bay Area.

Join Detroit Repair as we team up with Gesher Human Services for a morning of hands-on service. Together, we'll help beautify the homes of individuals living with mental health challenges — planting flowers, pulling weeds, laying mulch, and more. No experience needed and all are welcome. We'll gather between 9-9:30am at Gesher's Clubhouse for the Common Good for breakfast and orientation before heading out to homes across Southfield, Oak Park, West Bloomfield, and Farmington Hills. Please note that transportation to the homes is not provided, so plan accordingly. This is a meaningful opportunity to show up for our neighbors and take action in pursuit of a more just world. Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes and come ready to get your hands dirty.

Everyone deserves a mailbox full of love letters. Join us for an evening of letter writing for elderly community members. A few thoughtful sentences can make someone's whole week. Doughnuts and hot cocoa provided. This event is in partnership with Moishe House West Hollywood.

Join us for our monthly cooking session with Silverstein Base Lincoln Park! Together, we cook and serve a meal for the residents in transitional housing at Lincoln Park Community Services.

Spend the day with us at The Breman, Atlanta's Jewish heritage museum, exploring four exhibitions that hold the full range of the Jewish story. We'll walk through Absence of Humanity, the permanent Holocaust exhibition told through the artifacts and voices of Atlanta-area survivors. We'll see History with Chutzpah, which traces the remarkable Southern Jewish experience, and Treasures & Tchotchkes, where everyday objects from the Cuba Family Archives become witnesses to lives lived. We'll also take in Bronx Boys, a photography exhibition documenting Jewish immigrant life through the lens of Morton Broffman and Jules Aarons. Come ready to look closely, learn together, and reflect on the stories that shape who we are.

Volunteer with The Lunch Club and join JCCSF and Repair the World Bay Area at our monthly program to make lunch bags on Tuesday, June 9th from 6:30pm - 8:30pm in San Francisco. We'll be making 200 sandwiches and packing them into lunch bags for shelter residents of St. Vincent de Paul Society of San Francisco, and we need your help to make it happen 🥪
