A Month of Meaningful Service
This April, the National Days of Jewish Service, themed Roots to Branches – together, we embody the values of being rooted in Jewish learning, branching into action, fostering deep connections, and making a lasting impact in our communities.
April is Global Volunteer Month
Good Deeds Day, on April 6, is a global day for communal acts of kindness.
BBYO J-Serve also on April 6, is an international day of Jewish youth service.
During Passover, April 12 – 20, we reflect on our liberation and create space through Jewish learning to meet the current needs of our communities.
Earth Day on April 22 inspires us to care for our planet.
Holocaust Remembrance Day, Yom HaShoah, on April 24 provides a day to grieve, and reminds us to ensure that history never repeats itself.
