PORCH Westwood, a member of a nationwide PORCH Communities network, is a monthly food collection uniting the Wilshire Corridor community to fight local hunger. Each month, volunteers and neighbors connect over the evolving needs of our nearest food bank, Westside Food Bank in Santa Monica, then collect donated items left on neighborhood porches. Together, we transform individual acts of kindness into coordinated community care because hunger lives close to home, but it doesn't have to. Through community and action, we're building the community our most vulnerable neighbors deserve. We'll meet promptly at 6:30 PM. Our meeting location will be sent by email. After a community gathering, each volunteer will receive instructions about collecting food donations.

Join Repair the World Orange County and JCC Cares at the Merage JCC for Mitzvahs on Main, a monthly morning of hands-on service right on Main Street. Each month we take on a different project, from crafting care items to packing supplies for neighbors in need, and donate the items to local nonprofits. No experience needed, just show up ready to do some good. This month, we'll be expressing our gratitude to those who served by writing thank you cards to local veterans.

Join Repair the World Chicago for a volunteer evening at Feed My Starving Children in Libertyville! Connect with other Jewish young adults in their 20s and 30s in the North Shore and Northwest Suburbs as we pack meals for children around the world. During this one-of-a-kind experience, you'll hand-pack rice, soy, dried vegetables, and a nutritionally complete blend of vitamins and minerals into meal bags that are sealed, boxed, and shipped to children in need around the world.

Take an hour to make a difference alongside peers from across the Atlanta Jewish community. Hosted by Repair the World in partnership with the Jewish Atlanta Ecosystem, this gathering brings together community building, Jewish learning, and service ahead of Thanksgiving. As the culture around us marks Halloween and Día de los Muertos and prepares for Thanksgiving, we’ll explore what Jewish tradition teaches about honoring those who came before us, caring for our elders, and practicing gratitude. Then we’ll put that learning into action by making Thanksgiving cards for seniors at The Jewish Home. Open to Jewish community professionals, board chairs and presidents, and designated representatives of Atlanta Jewish organizations. We look forward to seeing you there!

Caring for the stranger is the most repeated instruction in the Torah. Join a small group of volunteers on the Upper West Side to support a community respite dinner. At each dinner, our immigrant new neighbors cook the traditional foods of home and gather in a warm, safe space. We’ll help set up, serve, clean up, and play with the kids. Come ready to roll up your sleeves, engage in meaningful Jewish learning, meet new people, and help make a welcoming table for everyone who walks through the door.
