LA Wildfires Resources and Opportunities

Our hearts are heavy as we witness the devastation caused by the wildfires affecting our beloved Los Angeles community. We are deeply saddened by the pain, loss, and uncertainty faced by so many during this challenging time. We are thinking of you and hope you are staying safe.

In times of crisis, service is a powerful response. Together we can serve to meet the pressing needs of our community as they arise. Join us in making a difference.

Opportunities to Serve

In collaboration with our trusted local partners, including Jewish Federation Los Angeles, Repair the World is beginning to mobilize a Jewish volunteer response to support those impacted, guided by our values to strengthen each other, hitchazkut. Together, we can engage thousands of young Jews in the wildfires response to rebuild and restore. Will you join us?

Repair the World’s Wildfires Response Service Corps is open to adults ages 18-29 to invest both in their communities and themselves through the lens of Jewish values. This unique cohort will address the immediate needs of our service partners as they respond to our community affected by the ongoing wildfires. This is a part-time service opportunity where Service Corps members will spend a minimum of 5 hours per week serving in capacity-building roles with local partners.
The Wildfires Response Service Corps will be led by Repair the World staff, providing placement stewardship and cohort Jewish values learning. Corps members are eligible for up to $1,000 stipend (based on length of time committed) with additional economic access funding available.
