This food drives brings together people of all faiths to support The Rohingya Community of Georgia. As we reflect on themes of renewal and intention setting during The Jewish New Year, we also gather together to support our neighbors and build a better world for all.

Join us and JF&CS Atlanta at the Kosher Food Pantry to sort, check, and shelve donated food alongside other Jewish young professionals in their 20s and 30s. The pantry provides kosher and non-kosher food to JF&CS clients facing food insecurity, so the shelves we stock go straight to Atlanta families who need them. Our tradition teaches kavod habriyot, the dignity owed to every person, and that value shapes this work: a well-organized pantry means clients get nourishing food with care and respect. It's a hands-on way to meet new people and see the difference a few hours can make. No experience needed. Bring a friend and come ready to work together.

We're walking to fight hunger in Atlanta, and you're invited! Join The Zadie Project, Souper Jenny's nonprofit, for Souper Walk VIII on Saturday, October 24. Walkers will cover the 31-mile Souper Jenny Trail from Roswell to Decatur, stopping at every Souper Jenny location along the way. Sign up for one leg or all four, or walk virtually from wherever you are. The Zadie Project distributes 1,000 quarts of soup each week to children, families, and seniors facing food insecurity, and 100% of donations go directly to that work. Walkers are asked to donate $250 and will receive snacks, lunch, a commemorative t-shirt, and a medal for walking 13 miles or more. In Hebrew, halacha, the word for Jewish law, comes from the root "to walk." Let's walk our values together!
