Volunteer

Service brings us together to tackle society’s greatest challenges, build stronger communities, and be a force that transforms the world. Jewish tradition reminds us that a person is commanded to work towards justice, tzedek, by working to build a just, complete world. We serve alongside our communities in pursuit of a just society while seeking to create meaningful and lasting change. Join us.

Looking to engage your family in meaningful service opportunities and social justice centered learning? This year Repair the World Brooklyn is launching a new exciting program with monthly service projects throughout the Fall 2022 season. Each month your family will volunteer alongside other families in the community to learn about a different issue facing our city and participate in a related act of service. For every session your children attend, they will unlock a limited edition handmade badge! PJ Library has also generously donated funding for Repair the World Family Corps members. Geared to families with kids ages 3-7 but open to all! 10am-12pm: 10/16, 11/6, 12/4 + 11/22 Parent salon night!
