Join Repair the World OC and JCC Cares the first Thursday of every month at the Merage JCC for Mitzvahs on Main, a monthly morning of hands-on service right on Main Street. Each month we take on a different project, from crafting care items to packing supplies for neighbors in need, and donate the items to local nonprofits. No experience needed, just show up ready to do some good.

We are starting a monthly virtual gathering for Jewish young adult professionals working in Jewish organizations in OC (synagogues, nonprofits, camps, schools, Hillels, and more). This is a space to connect, network, share your events and projects, seek partnership and collaboration, gain insight from your peers, and pick up some cool Jewish education to bring back to your own network! The Lunch Club brings good Jewish community together on the first Thursday of every month for a kosher-style dinner, good conversation, and hands-on service. We spend the evening making sandwiches, which Sandwiches From the Heart delivers to local shelters and food banks around Orange County.

Parent Recharge is a four-part mini-series for University Synagogue PreK parents, built around service, connection, and rest. Each session, we hand-tie a blanket together to donate to families who need warmth and comfort, and while our hands are busy, we talk and connect. We will discuss what it's like to lean on our support networks instead of carrying everything alone, about regulating our nervous systems, naming and processing your experiences, and letting go of the guilt that comes with putting yourself first. You don't need to make it to all four sessions to belong, come to one, come to all four, and leave a little more taken care of.
