Kickball for a Cause is Repair the World Orange County's monthly night of community, competition, and hands-on service, with a different cause featured each time. This month, we've teamed up with OC Hillel and Moishe House of Orange County Irvine! Here's how it works: everyone's got a role. Waiting to play? Join a team! You'll join the Bench Warmers Dugout Challenge and help craft this month's project between at-bats, where most made service projects wins your team bonus points. Watching from the sidelines? Join the Tikkun Olam Fan Club and pitch in on a hands-on service project while you cheer. No kickball experience required, and no crafting experience either. Just show up ready to play, cheer, and help. Bring friends, family, or come solo, everyone's welcome!

If you work at a Jewish organization in Orange County, this one's for you. Every third Tuesday, Jewish young adult professionals from synagogues, nonprofits, camps, schools, Hillels, and more get on Zoom to connect, share what we're each working on, look for partners, and pick up some Jewish learning worth bringing back to your own network. Come with something you're building, or just come listen.

Same meeting, midday option. If you made the Tuesday session, you don't need this one. If you work at a Jewish organization in Orange County, this one's for you. Every third Thursday during lunch, Jewish young adult professionals from synagogues, nonprofits, camps, schools, Hillels, and more get on Zoom to connect, share what we're each working on, look for partners, and pick up some Jewish learning worth bringing back to your own network. Come with something you're building, or just come listen.

Parent Recharge is designed for University Synagogue PreK parents, built around service, connection, and rest. During this program, we will make t-shirt tote bags together to donate to WISEPlace's bi-monthly farmers market for the neighbors they serve. While our hands are busy, we will discuss what it's like to lean on our support networks instead of carrying everything alone, community care, and letting go of the guilt that comes with putting yourself first.

Join Repair the World OC and JCC Cares the first Thursday of every month at the Merage JCC for Mitzvahs on Main, a monthly morning of hands-on service right on Main Street. Each month we take on a different project, from crafting care items to packing supplies for neighbors in need, and donate the items to local nonprofits. No experience needed, just show up ready to do some good. This month, we'll be expressing our gratitude to those who served by writing thank you cards to local veterans.

Snack and Service Social Hour is a family social that's part happy hour, part play hour, and part service hour, all rolled into one afternoon. Families gather to make sandwiches and decorate bags for people in our community facing food insecurity, as a way to introduce your kids to Jewish Service Learning. No experience needed, just hands ready to help.
