We are excited to put the value of volunteering into action during our October Community Service Day (CSD) at the North Hollywood Interfaith Food Pantry! We will sort food donations for the pantry to distribute to those in need. Our October CSD is part of Repair the World’s National Days of Jewish Service. The aim is to activate over 3,000 volunteers in acts of service and Jewish learning to commemorate the anniversary of October 7th.

Join JWI YWIN NYC on Tuesday, October 15th, from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM for an evening of community, snacks, and civic engagement! In partnership with Repair the World, we’ll be writing postcards to voters in key areas who face significant barriers to voting. By participating, you’ll be supporting JWI’s “Vote Like Our Rights Depend On It” campaign, which advocates for critical issues like gender-based violence, abortion access, gun reform, and paid family leave.

Do you have the Chutzpah to organize for a just and livable future? Join Dayenu and the Environmental Voter Project to turn out climate voters in Georgia. This shift is co-sponsored by T'ruah. We'll ground ourselves in Jewish wisdom, go over the scripts we'll be using, then get to work calling voters. If you've already been trained by Dayenu or EVP, you can jump right into calling. If this is your first time phonebanking, no worries; we'll train you before you start calling. All you need to participate is a phone (landline or cell), web-enabled computer or tablet, and yourself.
