Join Repair the World Orange County and Temple Beth Sholom's young adult group, AVIV, for a meaningful mitzvah before Shabbat begins. We'll come together to make sunbutter and jelly sandwiches that will go directly to neighbors in need in the Orange County community, then transition into Shabbat services together. Presented with One Crown Heights — a coalition of neighbors, nonprofits, elected officials, and community leaders — this event brings our neighborhood together in dialogue and shared celebration. Enjoy live music from local artists, cultural dance performances, street games, hands-on art activities, and a spread of kosher and non-kosher food vendors. Rooted in the belief that service and connection build stronger communities, this festival bridges divides, builds understanding, and celebrates what makes Crown Heights home. Bring your family, your neighbors, and your curiosity — and help us grow a community where everyone belongs.

Join us for an evening of service and imagination. We'll start by packing bagged lunches for the participants of Black Seed Writers Group, a Boston-based writing collective for homeless, transitional, and recently housed writers. Then, as a group, we'll turn to our own writing: using the power of language, imagination, and Jewish text to reach for and write about a better world. In Hebrew, dvar means both "word" and "thing" — a reminder that the words we write can have a tangible impact in the world. This event takes place near the Park Street T stop.

Join Repair as we partner with St. Cecilia's young adult program for a night of service and connection. We'll start with a quick icebreaker, then serve together at the Paulist Center's Wednesday Night Supper Club, bringing a hot meal to our housing insecure neighbors in Boston. Afterward, we'll head to Hub Pub to keep the conversation going with our friends from St. C's—diving into an interfaith text study and exploring what future collaboration and bridge-building between our communities could look like. Space at the supper club is limited, so if the first shift is full or can't make it until later, you're welcome to sign up for just the Hub Pub portion of the night.
