Racial and Food Justice
You are inextricably connected to the food system, and so you should share responsibility for helping to make the system just.
What is your relationship to the food that you eat? Do you know who grew it and where? Are you familiar with the process it took to produce this item? We love food, but we tend to not know much about it. Many are fortunate to not worry about where our next meal will come from, if it fits our dietary restrictions, or if it is culturally appropriate. Simultaneously, many do not have access to the foods that they need. Through this Turn the Tables guide, learn the importance of food justice and its innate connection to racial justice.
