For anyone who wants to go a little deeper, there will be journaling materials and a learning resource on mental health from us at Repair the World and caring for one another here in San Francisco, because a city where everyone can find support is part of the sweetness we're wishing for this new year. Join us for Reverse Tashlich on Sunday, September 20th, all ages welcome! Tashlich is the ritual of letting go: each year, we symbolically cast our missteps into flowing water. Reverse Tashlich turns that ritual outward. Instead of casting away, we gather up, pulling trash from our shoreline and putting tikkun olam, the Jewish call to repair the world, into practice. We're teaming up with the JCCSF and Repair the Sea, joining Jewish communities around the globe for this hands-on act of renewal. Together, we'll clean the beach, connect with each other, and reflect on what it means to care for the places we love and share.

Celebrate New Beginnings, Share Reflection, and Connect with Open Hearts. ​As the autumn season arrives, the Jewish High Holy Days offer rich traditions of renewal, forgiveness, and welcoming the stranger. Whether we look to Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, and Sukkot, or to the values within our own cultures and faiths, these themes unite us as neighbors and human beings. ​Come sit at a shared table as we enjoy dinner and explore three universal experiences of New Beginnings, Reflection and Reconciliation, and Gratitude. This is an interfaith intercultural event to discover shared values across faiths and traditions, inspired by the Jewish High Holidays, yet explicitly inviting ALL! Bring your appetite, your stories, and an open heart.

This virtual shift blends Jewish teaching, political education, and hands-on training so you can call voters and help them get to the polls. No experience needed, just two hours and a phone.
