Jewish group’s campaign to distribute 10,000 backpacks nationwide approaches goal

Repair the World is more than three-quarters of the way toward its goal of distributing 10,000 backpacks across the United States, August 2022.

Repair the World, an organization dedicated to mobilizing Jews and their communities to take action to pursue a just world, highlighted the success of its “Backpacks for Education Equity” campaign, which is more than three-quarters of the way toward its goal of distributing 10,000 backpacks across the United States.

“As we approach our campaign goal, we know that 10,000 school children across the country will arrive in their classrooms better prepared to learn, perform and thrive,” said Eli Greenstein Jacober, director of campaigns for Repair the World. “Studies show that students who arrive with materials and basic supplies perform exponentially better.”
