Philanthropic Collaborative Fuels Massive Repair the World Expansion with $13 Million Investment

In the year following October 7, Repair the World has seen participation more than double, fueled by young Jews seeking connection, meaning, and community through service. Backed by a $13 million investment from seven major Jewish foundations, the organization is expanding nationally — adding new staff, partner hubs, and microgrants to strengthen Jewish identity and bridge-building through volunteerism. Leaders say this surge reflects a growing desire to confront antisemitism, rebuild trust, and meet urgent social needs through action, dialogue, and shared purpose.
