Good Deeds Day was a tremendous day of seeing our Jewish values and learning show up for the broader Milwaukee community and the agencies we call partners

I think it’s important that we look beyond ourselves...While it’s important to take care of ourselves and our families, it’s also important to take care of the strangers that are in our community, that are kind of the unknown family. They’re part of us, and we all depend on each other even if we don’t necessarily see or feel it in the day to day.
Lindsay Ottersen (she/her), Repair the World Detroit volunteer
Even if I have everything I need, many other people don’t. And I think it’s important to make the world just a little bit better by helping people who are in need.
