Repair the World Los Angeles Partners with Community for Wildfire Aid and Support
Los Angeles, CA – The recent wildfires in Los Angeles have left a significant impact on our communities. Their devastating effects have disrupted lives, strained communities, and brought immense uncertainty to countless individuals and families. In this critical moment, Repair the World Los Angeles is working alongside trusted local organizations to mobilize aid and support for those most affected. By partnering with our service-partners and local organizers, we are turning collective efforts into actionable solutions. This is a moment for our city to come together to offer relief amidst the uncertainty, restore stability, and stand in solidarity with our neighbors. Whether through volunteering, donating, or spreading awareness, every action makes a difference in helping communities recover. In times of loss and grief, we rely on the courage and resolve of our communities, as we are guided by our values to strengthen each other, hitchazkut.
We invite our entire Los Angeles community to use these resources to support their neighbors and all those affected by the fires as Service Ambassadors. Ambassadors are equipped with training and a stipend of up to $150 to facilitate programs that mobilize their peers to serve and learn. Service Ambassadors will develop leadership, program planning, and facilitation skills, deepen their understanding of social issues and Jewish values, and directly support the recovery and relief efforts from the ongoing wildfires.
Below is a comprehensive list of ways to get involved and make tangible difference in the lives of those impacted:
