Service & Learning Opportunities

Serve and learn alongside your neighbors in partnership with local organizations, addressing food insecurity, education justice, housing, and other pressing community needs through a Jewish lens.

Serve With Us

Service Corps members spend a minimum of 5 hours per week volunteering with local service partners and engaging in cohort learning experiences. This cohort is focused on the Brooklyn community and will explore bridge-building, cultural exchange, and intersecting Black and Jewish history from Brooklyn-based facilitators. This is a part-time opportunity running May 3–June 30. Corps members commit to 5+ hours per week of direct service and full participation in 5 learning sessions and 2 group service sessions. Corps members are eligible for a stipend of up to $1,000, with additional economic access funding available. Acceptances are on a rolling basis.

Learn More and Apply

Take action, earn a stipend, and build community. As a part-time stipended service corps member in New York, you’ll volunteer with local nonprofits, address urgent needs, and engage deeply with Jewish values and traditions that inspire social change alongside your peers. You can also join the Bridge-Building service corps that brings people together across lines of difference – fostering collaboration, trust, and common ground across our diverse community.

Learn More

Volunteer as a family while participating in Jewish service-learning and meeting local community needs. Family programs are specifically for young children and their caregivers to serve, learn, and engage in conversation about justice.
